be-good devised a series of solutions for the Linkedin, to deliver a vital shift from passive meetings to participative events online.
Having pivoted to the latest tools to enable home working around the world, Linkedin were anxious to balance screen time with energetic interaction and teamwork. COVID constraints and wide spread of the team across 5 countries, meant that their uplifting 3-day annual physical gathering was impossible. Leadership were worried team members were isolated, detached and that hard work was going unnoticed. Team culture and spirit needed to come to the fore, to lift morale and share insights from this year, as well as strategy for the year ahead.
We produced a high energy, motivational and joyful programme around a core business agenda, away from the endless inbox and screen calls. Cutting through digital wallpaper to create an engaging space for the group to gather and build the next 6 months together.
Working closely with Linkedin we profiled the diverse team, asking them to reflect on their home working experiences and share tips for physical and mental respite, balancing on and off-screen moments.
Screen sessions were reduced into hourly slots over 3 days, with a deliberate contrast between business, chat, pre-recorded material and offline activities to raise energy and focus. We curated video and audio from guest contributions, programmed brief clear keynote content with host and guest speakers, tabled breakouts, and participative chat. Tools and exercises were designed around wellbeing and fun. We tabled time to reflect and reconnect with the outdoors.
The event lives on as the team share inspiration and continue to support each other through the diverse conversations and channels we opened. Bringing the event aims to the fore and keeping the remote team connected.
